Meet Sydney Denmark, Licensed Psychotherapist
I'm Sydney, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to providing psychotherapy that empowers individuals with learning and attention differences. My approach focuses on uncovering and building upon each person’s inherent strengths.
I earned my Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College and completed a Clinical Fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
My passion for this work stems from a deep recognition that traditional systems often fail to honor the diverse ways people think, learn, and grow—an understanding that drives my commitment to fostering confidence and self-discovery in those I work with.

What Sets Us Apart
Adaptive Learning Proficiency
Together, we'll focus on your natural talents and abilities, building confidence from a foundation of what makes you uniquely brilliant.
Strengths-Based Approach
Beyond traditional therapy, we bring deep expertise in learning and attention differences, helping you transform challenges into opportunities for growth.
Specialized Understanding
Each session is tailored to your individual story, ensuring you receive the focused attention and understanding you deserve.
Our initial 50-minute consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and determine if we're a good fit. This session helps us create a foundation for our work together and develop a personalized approach that honors your unique way of thinking and learning.
I operate as a private-pay practice and do not accept insurance. This allows me to provide focused, personalized care without the limitations often imposed by insurance companies. I can provide you with a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement if needed.
Most clients begin with weekly 50-minute sessions to establish momentum and build a strong therapeutic relationship. As you progress, we can adjust the frequency based on your needs and goals. Consistency is key to creating meaningful change and maintaining progress.
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee. This policy helps maintain the structure needed for effective therapy and ensures availability for all clients.
